You must be able to make your own way to our production facility at Wingates Industrial Park, Westhoughton and will possess a full driving licence or intend to work towards this. You should be comfortable with, and capable of, manual handling tasks and working at height and must be willing and able to work overtime as and when required.

We have an exciting opportunity for several individuals, based in the Bolton or surrounding area, to join our company and start on the path to a successful career as an Industrial Door Engineer. You will be supported to become a qualified engineer with a mix of practical and classroom-based learning.

What you will do in your working day
• You will undertake a series of work placements within our production facilities in Westhoughton, Bolton and on-site
• You will work alongside experienced engineers, to gain all round experience within the door industry
• You will spend time with our production teams manufacturing high-speed doors and dock levellers
• You will spend time with our engineers, installing, servicing, repairing, maintaining a range of industrial doors, loading bay equipment, gates and barriers on customer sites throughout the northwest

You will complete day release with Alliance Learning where you will attend one day per week to gain the hands on practical skills alongside the theory, working towards the Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship.
