Job Description:
Cormar Carpets are an UK based Award winning, family run carpet manufacturer who have been making and delivering carpets since 1956. We make and deliver our carpets from our two distribution sites in Hemel Hempsted and Bury to over 3,000 retailers across the UK and Ireland using our own fleet of vehicles. We have won over 50 carpet and flooring industry awards and are now looking for two Maintenance Engineering Apprentices to join our growing business. Completing block release at Alliance Learning will give you all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of working as a Maintenance engineer, including electrical wiring and testing, maintenance of mechanical devices, hand fitting, CAD, and much, much more. Working within the company you will: - Shadowing multi skilled engineers on their day-to-day duties - Learning all equipment required - Learning hierarchy of the organisation - Health and safety - Basic engineering principles - Fault finding - Electrical maintenance - Mechanical Maintenance - On the job training; practical skills, company processes, mentorship, soft skills. - Additional support and development; feedback from Engineering Manager / Co-ordinators Learning all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth running of production and the business. |
