Course Overview (Benefits)
This course enables contract personnel to satisfy the need for high standards in Health & Safety training in a variety of industries. The Health & Safety Passport Scheme, accredited by the ECITB is a way of only accepting personnel who hold the Contractors Safety Passport. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive. The aim of this course:

- Reduced risk of accidents and incidents
- Improved job prospects and increase competitiveness through the use of certified personnel
- Legislative compliance
- Reduction in company costs due to reduction in incident related costs
Course Requirements

CANDIDATES MUST BRING WITH THEM PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION
(Travel passport, Driving License)
Please seek advice from the sales team if candidates are unable to bring Photo ID
Candidates are required to attend the renewal on or before their expiry date.
Please note from the 1st April 2012 all Passport cards will be issued directly from the ECITB to the individual candidates - All CCNSG training centres will no longer issue passport cards on the day of the training.
Candidates will be issued with a temporary green card valid for six weeks until the CCNSG cards have arrived.
Could attendees please bring with them 2 passport photos and their National Insurance Number, along with their existing Passport cards which need to be surrendered on the day of the course.
A digital photograph will be taken on the first day of the course, this will be uploaded onto the ECITB Database.
Candidates need to be aware that the ECITB (CCNSG) will require the candidate’s personal details (Name, Address, DOB, National Insurance Number etc.). This information is covered under the Data Protection Act.
Please note there is an opportunity to combine the ACE/CCNSG Cards and synchronise their expiry dates for the future. Please inform the Tutor on the first day if this is required.
If the candidate is unable to comply with any of the above information please contact the centre immediately.
If candidates require any special learning support please speak to the tutor on arrival. Candidates need to have a basic understanding of the English language

Target Group
Contractor personnel working on site, whom already hold a safety passport and are seeking renewal. This course is delivered in English and therefore a prerequisite of this course is that delegates are fluent in the English language.
Assessment and Certification
You will complete a multiple choice question assessment at the end of the session. Once you have passed the assessment, you will be issued with a new identification passport, which is valid for a further 3 years.
