Job Description:
We are looking for someone who holds an appropriate Electrical Maintenance qualification and has experience of working in industry within their career. You will need to be passionate about engineering and be keen to pass on knowledge and skills to the next generation of engineering apprentices. Although beneficial you do not need to have taught or assessed before as we will provide you with all the necessary skills and qualifications.
Typically, the role will require you to assess and progress learners through all aspects of their Apprenticeship, delivering underpinning knowledge and coaching, producing learning plans and schemes of work where relevant.
Take full responsibility for allocated learners to ensure retention, progression and achievement within their framework or new standards, ensuring high quality feedback and liaising with employers. Therefore, a full driving licence is essential.
Essential Skills:
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in appropriate occupational Electrical/Maintenance area & City & Guilds
• Good level of Maths, English and ICT
• Previous years’ experience using occupational skills after completion of training
• Computer literate
• Good customer skills
• Time management skills
• Training & development of Young People, Adults and existing workers
• Working to strict deadlines
• Achieving KPIs
• Completing documentation and maintaining records
