Craft Apprentice | William Hare Group
William Hare Group is a family owned business with origins in the UK dating back to the 1880s, operating across the world, having executed projects in over 50 countries. A fantastic opportunity to join them as a Craft Apprentice at their Bury site has come about.
The position involves Fabricating and Welding activities to producing Ancillary components and also Structural Steel sections for the construction industry.
Your duties will include;
• Producing Platework Assemblies
• MIG & MAG welding
• Producing and Finishing Holes using Drilling Machines
• Marking Out of Components for Metalwork
• Cutting and shaping using Thermal Cutting Equipment
The Metal Fabricator apprenticeship involves Knowledge (theory), Skills (practical) and Behaviours (Regular reviews with employer and provider). The qualification title: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge). Level 2 English and Maths are also included within the Apprenticeship Standard.
