Steve Catterall | Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship

About the company: S Catterall Ltd is a family run business that specialises in vehicle workshop installations for major companies within this sector. With over 25 years’ experience in this line of business we cover many areas of service such as; equipment installation and maintenance, pipe work systems, LEV systems, ATF lanes, workshop design, construction and project management.

As our business grows, we are now looking for juniors to join our growing company so that we can invest in their development and ensure their growth to become a long-term team member. S Catterall Ltd has excellent progression pathways.

You will learn to work with highly skilled Senior Pipefitters whilst on the job and will have the opportunity to gain experience on a variety of small and large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

Duties will include:
• Working alongside, shadowing and learning from senior pipefitters
• Oil Lubrication/Compressed air pipefitting, extraction systems, installations
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
• Threading
• Problem solving
• Taking part in learning and development activities
• Completing Health and Safety assessments/general industrial courses*
[*CSCS Cards are needed on all projects so the applicant must be able to pass this course]

Due to going on site there is a requirement for the learner to be 18+ for this role. IMPORTANT: Candidates will be working away from home on a weekly basis as our customers are based across the UK. The Employer, including accommodation, food and beverages meets all subsidy costs.
