About the company: Joining Booth Industries you will be joining a growing, developing company. As a World renowned provider of high performance, high integrity protection systems we are now looking for someone to join our office team as a Trainee Document Controller.
Purpose of Job:
To carry out logging all incoming and outgoing contract documentation related to projects. Tasked with chasing up outstanding documentation from the Booth Project Team and approval / comments from Clients. Maintain the production and maintenance of a Supplier Document Schedule. This document will also record the document submittal history showing current status and submittal, approval and return dates. Assisting in Configuration Control for specific contracts.
Ensuring all documents are tracked as necessary, controlling and maintaining project document registers. Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of drawings, COCs, FTCs, Maintenance data etc., through a database and / or spread sheets. Generating, maintaining and updating Project Certificate Data Books, Despatch Dossiers and that they are compiled in line with contractual requirement Managing incoming and outgoing submissions. Liaise with vendors and company employees as necessary to obtain appropriate documentation / information. Supporting the Documentation Administrator in the discharge of their duties Additional Duties Carry out general QA and Engineering administrative work along with any other reasonable task. Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post
