Essential Skills:
Key Responsibilities • Deliver training to Fabrication and Welding apprentices either on-site or through work-based assessment in the workplace • Assess learner progress and evidence against apprenticeship standards • Carry out progress reviews and provide clear, constructive feedback • Support learners with both academic and pastoral needs • Build positive relationships with employers and workplace mentors (work-based role) • Maintain accurate learner records using the e-portfolio system • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities What We’re Looking For • Relevant industry experience and minimum Level 3 qualifications in Fabrication and Welding • A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, teaching qualification), or willingness to work towards one • Strong communication and organisational skills • Ability to motivate and support learners at different stages of their apprenticeship • Understanding of apprenticeship standards and vocational learning |

Desirable Skills:
• Experience in an on-site tutoring or work-based assessor role • Knowledge of health & safety and industry compliance requirements |
