Job Description:
Movetech UK is a leading provider of creative and practical movement solutions, including industrial turntables and air-film floatation equipment, for many industries and has been solving load moving challenges for commerce and industry since 1959. Movetech UK has been accredited with ISO 9001 and has an established customer base including Rolls-Royce, Waitrose, Asda, BNFL and BAE Systems to name a few. The company is committed to high quality product design, manufacture and installation and it has an established and formal Quality Management System. As an Engineering Apprentice you will be joining a small but specialised Engineering team. You will develop into a Turntable Technician whose job duties will include Fitting & Fabrication of products, sub assemblies and or other components required by the company. Furthermore you will undertake servicing, inspection and repair of any of the company’s product either at our premises or at the customer’s site as required. Please note this is a hands on role which requires a mechanically minded person, keen to learn all aspects of hands on engineering. You will have the opportunity to learn pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical s systems and your skills will be developed in marking out, mechanical fit out, welding and electrical. You will also complete block release here at Alliance Learning. PLEASE NOTE: The Engineering intake will start in September with interviews planned in after May 2024. |
