It also gave me valuable exposure to new techniques and the opportunity to learn from other skilled competitors and experts in the field. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoyed the experience because of the sense of achievement and the supportive competitive environment. Being able to represent my skills nationally made the experience unforgettable and strengthened my passion and knowledge for Engineering.”
Her tutors praised her technical ability, problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail — all qualities that are vital for success in the fabrication industry.
Brian Halliwell and Scott Hawtrey, who supported her through WorldSkills, said: “Zafeerah is a real credit to herself and to Alliance Learning.
