Alliance Learning Signs Mental Health and Wellbeing Charter
Alliance Learning is delighted to be working in partnership with The Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) to incorporate a Mental Health Charter within Alliance Learning.
The Mental Health Charter aims to create an environment that promotes Mental Health support for apprentices and staff within independent training providers and employers.
As part of Alliance Learning’s commitment to the Mental Health Charter, two Mental Health Champions have been implemented within the business: Quality of Education Leader, Lauren Brophy, and Engineering & Training Centre Coordinator, Ashley Swift. Their role is to raise awareness of Mental Health issues and share resources across the company and network.
Lauren Brophy stated:
“Alliance Learning is an advocate of positive mental health so to be a part of the GMLPN Mental Health Project and signing the Mental Health Charter is something the company jumped at the chance to be involved in. I have faced my own challenges with my Mental Health and this is a battle, especially since the start of the Global Pandemic, most people are facing daily. By becoming a Mental Health Champion, I hope that I can make a difference to my own Mental Health and raise positive awareness of this with our learners, employers and the members of the Alliance Learning team. Mental ill-health is not something anyone should suffer with alone.”
Alliance Learning also continues to provide Mental Health First Aid training to businesses. This course helps employers to implement their own strategies within the workplace. For more information about this course, Click Here .
