At Alliance Learning, inclusion is central to our approach to education and training. We are committed to creating a learning environment where every apprentice feels valued, respected and supported to achieve their full potential, regardless of their background, personal circumstances or starting point. We pride ourselves on being learner centered.

Our programmes are designed to ensure that all learners can access high-quality training and are supported to succeed. Apprentices receive tailored support based on their individual needs, including additional learning support, reasonable adjustments and targeted interventions where required. This ensures learners with different abilities, experiences and learning needs can fully engage with their apprenticeship and make meaningful progress.

We are committed to supporting apprentices with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Learners who disclose a learning difficulty or disability are provided with appropriate support to remove barriers to learning and help them achieve their potential. This may include individual learning plans, specialist support, interventions, adaptive teaching strategies, assistive technologies and reasonable adjustments to teaching, learning and assessment. Tutors and support staff work closely with apprentices and employers, where necessary, to ensure support strategies are effective and regularly reviewed.

Equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded throughout our curriculum and personal development programme. Apprentices develop an understanding of different cultures, perspectives and experiences, helping them to work effectively in diverse workplaces and communities. Through tutorials, workshops and enrichment activities, learners explore topics such as equality, human rights, respectful behaviours and the importance of challenging discrimination.

Inclusive practice is embedded across teaching, learning and assessment. Tutors use a range of strategies to ensure learning is accessible and engaging for all apprentices. Regular progress reviews and learner feedback allow us to identify any barriers to learning early and provide the appropriate support to help apprentices stay on programme and achieve their goals.

Our inclusive approach ensures that all learners feel safe, supported and are able to participate fully in their learning. By fostering an inclusive culture, we help apprentices develop confidence, respect for others and the skills needed to succeed in the workplace and in modern British society.
