Team Alliance Shines at She Inspires Awards: Recognition and Triumph Despite Categories
In a dazzling display of talent and resilience, members of Team Alliance graced the She Inspires Award ceremony on Thursday 23rd November 2023, showcasing the incredible achievements within the team. Two outstanding members, Lisa Rees O’Donnell (Commercial Executive) and Chloe Ramsden (Business Development Manager), were finalists in different categories, marking an impressive acknowledgment of their contributions. Chloe, a rising star within the team, was nominated in the aptly named Rising Star category, highlighting her exceptional potential and dedication. Simultaneously, Lisa secured her spot as a finalist in the Women In Leadership category, demonstrating her commitment to leadership excellence.
While the night didn't bring home the coveted awards for Chloe and Lisa in their respective categories, the spirit of triumph still lingered in the air. The team had more reasons to celebrate as Chloe, to her pleasant surprise, was honoured with the Power Her Award. The unexpected award recognises individuals who exude strength, influence, and dedication, qualities Chloe has consistently demonstrated.
Expressing her gratitude, Chloe remarked,
What an honour it was to receive the Power Her Award 2023 at such a prestigious event, that celebrates female empowerment locally, nationally, and globally. Each day, I just do my job with the backing of the amazing Alliance Learning team, who I am so thankful for and to be recognised at such a prestigious event is just incredible. Thank you to Gulnaz and the whole team at She Inspires for putting on this fantastic evening, which gets bigger and better each year.”
Gill, the CEO of Team Alliance, echoed Chloe's sentiments, stating,
"We are delighted with Chloe’s success at this year’s She Inspires awards. This award is recognition of Chloe’s positivity, commitment and dedication to her work at Alliance Learning. We are proud to work with Gulnaz and the She Inspires awards team; a fantastic event that recognises and celebrates the talents of people, skills and teamwork.”
Lisa Rees O’Donnell, Commercial Executive, stated,
"I was delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Women in Leadership (Local and National). Although I didn’t win on the night, I reconnected with some amazing women working across multiple sectors. The She Inspires Awards night really motivates you to step up and be part of making a difference in the workplace. The Alliance Learning Team were lucky enough to have a winner on our table. Our very own Chloe Ramsden won the Power Her award. Huge congratulations to her for all her hard work and dedication. Here’s to next year's awards 2024.”
This is the ninth year that the She Inspires Awards have been held and only the third year of going international. Entries have come in from countries including Denmark, India, South Africa, the United States, the UAE, Australia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Turkey as well as from across the UK. The awards were presented at the Bolton Stadium Hotel in front of 600 people with thousands, including finalists in ZOOM Gallery, online throughout the world.
