This CMI Recognised qualification has been designed by Alliance Learning for employees who wish to extend their skills and knowledge to encompass project management. The qualification is open to all learners but as part of this Award, you will be expected to create a small project proposal, that would be of benefit to your organisation.
Course Requirements
As a CMI Recognised Award, this qualification can be offered to learners from the age of 19. In line with CMI, we do not specify entry requirements but as a centre we are required to ensure that all learners have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment needed

Understand the project planning process
Understand factors which contribute to effective monitoring and management of projects

Target Group
Assessment and Certification
The criteria and assessment of this qualification have been designed by the Business & professional team at alliance Learning and approved by CMI for delivery. The centre will ensure that:
• Learners are provided with a delivery plan, which outlines taught session to teach the knowledge and skills required to complete this qualification
• All chosen tasks and activities are relevant to the content of the Award
• Learners will be given clear instructions of what is expected
• Learners are clearly informed how long the Award will take and what reference or other material may be used
• The language used is free from bias and appropriate to the learners needs

In addition, the learners work must comply with the alliance Learning Quality assurance procedure and CMI moderation in that the learners work must be:
• Accurate, current and authentic
• Relevant in depth and breadth
• Clear with regard to context
• Demonstrate clear links between knowledge and practice

The assessment will be in the format of:
• A written workbook
• A project Proposal report (with relevant appendices)

The final submission will be moderated by CMI who will, if successful, release the certification
