What is an Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance session?

Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) sessions are designed to teach you about the Apprenticeship process, get advice towards writing or improving your CV, gain vital interview techniques and find out the Apprenticeship opportunities that apply to you. You will be invited in for an CEIAG session by a member of our recruitment team once you have applied for an Apprenticeship with us. How can we help you?

At Alliance Learning we strive to provide a quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) service to ensure all learners and employers can enhance their choice of learning, career, work and life goals. We will support learners through IAG in getting into learning, getting on in learning and moving on from learning. This IAG will be given by our professional and knowledgeable staff that have many years’ experience in the wide variety of sectors we offer.

What happens in an CEIAG session?

We will inform you about Apprenticeships and the routes available to you. You will complete short Maths and English assessments. You cannot pass or fail these; they are just a series of question to help us understand what level you are working at. We can also offer support if you need help writing or modifying your CV to make it stand out to employers and ultimately giving you a better chance of landing your dream Apprenticeship.
