Course Requirements It is a requirement that all candidates provide PPE - Fire Retardant Overalls & Steel toe Safety Boots , welding screens and gloves

Course Content/Topics Covered Preparation and practice in welding fillets, corners and butts of varying thickness in flat position Practice in the operation of manual arc welding equipment including: - Setting electrical conditions - Earthing arrangements - Selection of appropriate electrodes - Normal maintenance and routine care Course review and evaluation

Target Group This course is designed for delegates with no prior knowledge or experience.
Assessment and Certification Throughout the course, you will build a portfolio of your work and this will be assessed upon completion of the course. Once this has been assessed and you have successfully passed, you will be awarded with an Alliance Learning certificate of competence. An EAL accredited unit of competence can be achieved at additional costs and duration time.
