Course Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. As a general rule candidates should have knowledge of electrical installation and electrical science.

The course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians and domestic installers, however it is also very popular with allied professionals such as contracts managers, designers, electrical engineers, consultants, surveyors, and other related trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations. All candidates must be over 16 years old.

Target Group
This course is suitable for all personnel with electrical knowledge and experience.
Assessment and Certification
You will complete a 2 hour multiple choice exam with 60 questions. This is an open book exam. Once you have passed the assessment, you will be issued with an City & Guilds 2382-15 certificate.

The online multiple-choice exam will take place on the last day of the course. To undertake the exam, you must provide photographic ID such as passport or driving license. Your ID will be verified by the invigilator before the examination commences. NB* Failure to present your ID will render you unable to sit the exam.

As part as the City & Guilds external quality audit (EQA) candidates may be selected at random and contacted via the telephone. This might include discussing the course delivery and your experience on the course.
