Course Overview (Benefits)
This course will provide delegates with the necessary knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence to effectively deliver both practical and theoretical training sessions.
Course Requirements
Candidates will be required to undertake a 10 minute presentation on the last day of the training course.

Course Content/Topics Covered
This course teaches skills that can be transferred to a real life situation, including:
- The instructor's role in training
- Problems concerning learners
- The learning process
- Delivering practical demonstrations
- Delivering short talks and lectures
- Training needs analysis
- Constructing training objectives
- Use of questions in instruction
- Using visual/training aids
- Evaluating teaching methods
To qualify for the award candidates will complete, to a satisfactory standard, an assessed 10-minute presentation.

Target Group
Managers, supervisors and any staff responsible for the training and development of others, particularly those delivering Health & Safety training.
Assessment and Certification
Candidates will complete, to a satisfactory standard, an assessed 10-minute presentation. Upon successful completion of this, candidates will be awarded with an ILM certificate. This certificate doesn’t currently expire.
