Specialist Switchgear Systems Ltd is a fast-growing provider of specialist electrical components to the trade with counters in both Bury and Leeds. As major stockists of electrical components from leading UK companies they offer ex-stock availability of thousands of items for immediate delivery. Their specialism lies with their dedicated team of electrical specialists who design, manufacture, and install low voltage switchgear systems and distribution boards built to customer's specification. As the business is growing & changing, you will be instrumental in making this happen and at times it might be a case of rolling your sleeves up to help get the job done.

Job purpose:
The role holder has responsibility for the Sales orders of electrical engineering stock for client order fulfilment & own use manufacturing stock, in line with the Company's existing warehousing processes & procedures.

Job responsibilities and duties:
• Ensures deliveries are scheduled to meet the customer's expectations, delivery notes are signed and reconciled to customer orders.
• Maintains an efficient and cost-effective delivery service to the customer.
• Supports the Company's e commerce order channel, e.g.., uploading & review product information.
• Ensures products are warehoused in a clean and safe manner to maintain product quality, checks for any product defects or quality issues, and reports them to the Branch Manager.
• Undertakes, manages sales orders liaising with customers on their orders.
• Negotiating cost.
• Speaking with customers and building a relationship.
• Complies to the Company's health and safety processes and procedures and safe working practices. Ensures the warehouse maintained to a high hygiene & health & safety standard.
• Manages any customer queries regarding orders and/or deliveries.
• Performs stock takes, updates inventories and inputs to operational reports on damaged & missing stock.
