Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Engineering Operative Apprentice to join our workshop team. This hands-on role involves learning to prepare new machinery, assist with general warehouse tasks, repair customer printers, fit mechanical parts for installations, produce customer samples, test electrical panels, support new projects, and help maintain an organised workshop environment. Key Responsibilities: • Preparing New Machinery: Learn how to assemble, test, and prepare new machinery for installations. • Warehouse Support: Assist with managing stock, organising materials, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. • Printer Repairs: Support the team in diagnosing and repairing customer printers, learning to meet our high standards for quality and reliability. • Mechanical Fitting: Help fit and install parts for new machinery setups, working alongside our experienced engineering and installation teams. • Electrical Panel Testing: Learn to test and troubleshoot electrical panels, ensuring all machinery meets safety and operational standards. • Customer Samples: Assist in producing sample prints and tests for customers to ensure their requirements are met. • Project Assistance: Participate in setting up and supporting new projects, gaining technical knowledge and skills. • Workshop Maintenance: Keep the workshop tidy, well-organised, and stocked with necessary supplies and tools. |
